From tragedy to inspiration.

Faith House Ministries, founded in Kenya, was inspired by Faith Mercy Awour, a student at the Rafiki Girls' Center. Faith passed away in 2005 after struggling with poverty and neglect, but her vision of a hopeful future continues to inspire the organization.

A thirst to thrive.

Damaris Njoroge and Agnes Nyambura, both driven by their thirst for education, faced numerous obstacles but persevered. Their dedication to learning despite financial and family challenges planted the seeds for Faith House in 2007, which aims to support girls like them.

A call to serve.

The journey of Faith House is deeply rooted in the love and commitment of six Americans who were moved by the needs of at-risk teenage girls in Kenya. Their combined efforts and God's guidance led to the establishment of Faith House, with Jane Pope and Gretchen Bartlett playing pivotal roles in its early years.

A prayer of praise.

Today, Faith House is committed to providing education and shelter for young women in Kenya, ensuring their safety and access to education. The organization continues to meet the pressing needs of single young women, inspired by Faith's dream of a home for girls in need.
